I was not prepared for Bagdad's Cemetery.

The road that built the town is little used, the tracks that supplied the town simply pass it by.

The cemetery is beyond the tracks, beyond normal reach.

These graves are forgotten, except by those who abuse the site.

Bagdad is all but forgotten. Lost in time and on a road to the past.

The graves need care, attention and for others to leave them alone.

AND NOW MY COMRADES ALL ARE GONE;

NAUGHT REMAINS TO TOAST.

THEY HAVE LEFT ME HERE IN MISERY,

LIKE SOME POOR WANDERING GHOST!

Rest in Peace
