OAKHURST, CA
Oak Hill or as it is known now Oakhurst is a thriving community located east of Merced. A mining town that dates back to the Indian Wars, it is a thriving community, thanks to travelers to Yosemite and Mammoth Ski Resorts.
The cemetery is worth a stop at and the chapel dates back to the late 1800's.

After the property was sold,
the remains were moved to Oakhill Cemetery,
Oakhurst in 1970.
