ORO GRANDE, CA CEMETERY

The cemetery at Oro Grande is a sad reminder that vandals are destroying our history. Many stones are missing or broken. Simple wooden crosses and stone outlines mark most graves.

The cement plant has failed to follow thru and provide water for the site. At one point they tried to eliminate the cemetery for other uses. Other uses?

The site is guarded by a neighbor who is suspicious of strangers.

It is a special place, a lonely place.

Please take on pictures, leave only footprints.
