First impressions of Tonopah's Pioneer Cemetery is just how big it is and how many graves there are for such a short period of time.
But this was a mining town and lots of folks died. Died in the mines, in the bars, on the streets and the lucky, in bed.
Many died in 1907 and in the big fire on 1911.
